Degree in Law Summa Cum Laude, 2006, from the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra. Later, she studied business law and international litigation, from the double degree program from Universidad Rey Juan Carlos de España y la Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra, 2012.
She was also a fellow in the Dominican Republic in the International Law Course held in Brazil, 2013, by the Organization of American States. She has completed various courses and diplomas in tourism, trust, commercial restructuring, commercial companies, tax, insurance, among others.
With 13 years of service at the Firm, she leads a team of excellent lawyers who advise in Corporate Business. Her area of expertise includes such comprehensive subjects as Commercial Law, Corporate and Business Law, Foreign Investment, Tax, Tourism, Contracts, Industrial Property and Health Records, among other services within commercial and business management. In the professional exercise, her participation in negotiations for the acquisition and development of important tourism projects in the national territory, as well as her participation in the sale of developments in the tourism sector, permit management and representation before the Dominican authorities, consulting and elaboration in corporate matters, including corporate preparation for the restructuring of companies and multinational groups , as well as tax advice for the use of tax incentives and the maximization of benefits by current legislation.
She is currently a member of the Legal Committee of the British Chamber of Commerce in the Dominican Republic (BRITCHAMDR). She is also part of the Legal Committee of the Official Chamber of Commerce of Spain in the Dominican Republic (CAMACOES).
As a speaker, she has participated in various business rounds for countries such as Costa Rica and El Salvador, as well as for the American Chamber of Commerce in the Dominican Republic (AMCHAMDR) in the activities of Doing Business in the Dominican Republic. Panelist at the University of Oxford on competitiveness and public-private partnerships with BRITCHAMDR. Lecturer on the estate planning strategies of Spain and the Dominican Republic for CAMACOES. Webinarist in matters of corporate reorganization and corporate restructuring, as well as in food law.
She has made multiple publications, highlighting articles such as: Customs processes in the implementation of free trade agreements; Legal Due Diligence; How to invest in the Dominican Republic; Arbitration in insurance contracts; Preferential rules of origin and their application in the Dominican Republic; Arbitration as an alternative method of resolving disputes in the area of Industrial Property, among others.
