Lawyer, Cum Laude, 1991, from the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra, in the city of Santo Domingo. Afterwards, he completed a master’s degree in Business Administration and Management at the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas-ICADE, in the city of Madrid, 1994 to 1996. As part of his career, he has participated in multiple diplomas, congresses, and seminaries where he has strengthened his knowledge in commercial, tax, labor law, as well as other areas. More recently he has participated in workshops such as How to manage the change of the company INTRAS, 2019; Family Business 4.0 by IE Business School, Madrid, 2018; Lawyers´Management Program LATAM of IE Business School, Miami, 2018,; Congress of the Business Council Alliance for Ibero-America, Madrid, 2019, among others.
He serves as Managing Partner of the Firm, where he leads and advises the areas of practice. His professional practice stands out in the advice of national and international operations, having actively participated in processes specific to commercial, civil, energy, real estate, labor, and tourism law, where he has achieved great satisfactions for clients through avant-garde strategies.
The beginning of his professional experience took off with important legal advice to national and international banks, such as Chase Manhattan Bank.
In addition, his experience includes important transactions, related to acquisitions and sales process. In addition, corporate reorganization and restructuring processes. He has great negotiating skills, so he has successfully represented clients in procurement processes and strategic alliances. It highlights its participation in advice for the establishment and development of important renewable energy projects in the national territory. Likewise, its participation in negotiations and advice on the sale, acquisition, and financing of tourism projects.
In the field of labor law, he has developed extensive experience in the planning of processes and audits, negotiations, transactions, defenses and claims for compensation. For many years he has been a permanent advisor on preventive aspects of a working nature and Social Security, both for multinational groups and for large Dominican business groups. His successful career includes having succeeded in having some of his postulates become jurisprudence by the Dominican Supreme Court of Justice.
He has participated as a speaker in different congresses, seminars and days of law, such as the current Overview of the development of renewable energy projects in the Dominican Republic, Forum Dominican Republic: Investment Opportunities in a new context of tourist attraction in IE Business School, Skills and Skills to be a good lawyer of the Intensive Workshop for Law Students (TIED) of the Pontifical Catholic University Mother and Teacher (PUCMM) , among others. Likewise, he is the author of several publications of legal interest.
In 2019 she received the recognition of gratitude from Women, Business and the Law 2020 for her generous collaboration in researching this team from The World Bank Group.
He is an active member of the Dominican Bar Association, Institutional and Justice Foundation (FINJUS), National Association of Young Entrepreneurs (ANJE), Association of Foreign Investment Companies (ASIEX), Official Chamber of Commerce of Spain in the Dominican Republic (CAMACOES), French Dominican Chamber of Commerce and Industry (UCCIFE), Dominican Chamber of Commerce. Italian (CCDI), Dominican Mexican Chamber of Commerce (CADOMEX), British Chamber of Commerce of the Dominican Republic (BRITCHAM) and the American Chamber of Commerce of the Dominican Republic (AMCHAMDR), as well as alternate member of the board of directors of the Pedro Henríquez Ureña University Foundation (FUDPHU).
