The event was organised by the University of Navarra and the University of Lima.
The purpose of this programme is to train students in Spanish commercial and tax law from an international perspective. Topics such as competition law and fundamental rights are also addressed in the programme.
Over the week, the students of the Master's Degree in Business Law combined working sessions with visits to some of the main Spanish law firms with interests in Peru, such as ONTIER, Cuatrecasas and Uría Menéndez.
The students had the opportunity to attend talks and debates given by the partners of the firms, which explained and analysed transactions, takeover bids, debt refinancing and tax cases in which they had participated. Pedro Rodero, Managing Partner of ONTIER Spain, gave a lecture-debate, chaired by José Luis Pérez Benítez.
